What is the IELTS Exam?

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a worldwide standardized test of English language proficiency. It is offered in Academic (for education) and General Training (for work/visa) formats.

Co-owned by IDP and Cambridge English, the exam evaluates four communication skills. The Speaking test is conducted face-to-face with a human examiner.
